Fréchet cardinals

Abstract

An infinite cardinal λ is called Fréchet if the Fréchet filter on λ extends to a countably complete ultrafilter. We investigate the relationship between Fréchet cardinals and strongly compact cardinals under a hypothesis called the Ultrapower Axiom.
