Abstract

The review aims to summarize the existing peer-reviewed literature base to determine if there is evidence to support or refute the currently published expert-based recommendations for perinatal DRA. Specifically, we will explore if a relationship exists between the DRA and breathing mechanics, pelvic floor muscle function, lumbopelvic pain, and the structure and function of the abdominal wall.
