Abstract

Theoretical study of the photodetachement of H - near a soft spherical surface is reported. The detached electron spectra are analyzed both by the theoretical imaging technique and closed orbit theory. The theoretical imaging technique saliently measures the effect of curvature, whereas closed orbit theory seems to underestimate this effect.
