Abstract

This study aims to investigate how pubertal timing (calculated using oestradiol levels and referred to as 'hormone timing' here) and the rate of change in oestradiol predict brain developmental change among adolescent females. In addition, it will investigate whether hormone timing and rate of change predict mental health symptoms indirectly via brain developmental change.
