Abstract

This project presents a comprehensive bibliometric analysis of research on police patrol routing algorithms. Our study aims to shed light on publication trends, influential researchers and institutions, collaboration patterns, and thematic areas within this field. By analyzing a dataset of 279 research articles published from 1974 to early 2025, we provide valuable insights into the evolution and current state of police patrol optimization research.
