Abstract

Acute disturbances of consciousness are a frequent reason for consultation in pediatric emergencies. In additiontothe usual causes ofconsciousness disorders including neuro-meningeal infections, headtrauma, metabolic causes, drug and carbon monoxide poisoning, cannabis poisoning is increasingly common in the world. Due to the legislative ban on the consumption of cannabis in Tunisia, parents often do not report the consumption of cannabis, which can delay the diagnosis and can lead to several, and often unneces- sary para-clinical explorations. we must systematically think about cannabis poisoning, especially outside an obvious infectious and traumatic context. Thus, we report 3 particular cases of infants, brought to the emergency roomfor acutedisorder of consciousnessafter accidentalingestionof cannabis.
