Abstract

This project outlines the study protocol for a systematic review and rare case presentation on congenital lumbar hernia (CLH). The protocol details the methodology for a comprehensive literature review across seven databases (PubMed, Scopus, Web of Science, Cochrane Library, Ovid MEDLINE (R) ALL, Embase, and CNKI) to identify and analyze reported cases of CLH. Additionally, the protocol describes the inclusion criteria, data extraction process, and planned synthesis of clinical, diagnostic, and surgical management strategies. The study aims to establish a standardized diagnostic and management algorithm to guide future clinical practice and research on this rare condition."
