Abstract

The coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic, caused by severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2), has raised concerns about its impact on female reproductive functions. 1 While direct viral damage to ovarian cells is limited, 2 , 3 the immune response to COVID-19 may cause organ damage, 4 and its impact on female reproductive capacity remains unclear.
