In 2001 W. Gosper introduced a constant Piq and conjectured without proofs many intriguing identities on this constant. In this paper we establish some modular equations of degrees 3 and 5. From these modular equations we confirm two groups of Piq-identities in Gosper's list. One group involves Piq,Piq2,Piq3 or Piq6 while the other is related to Piq,Piq2,Piq5 or Piq10.
