Abstract

Two recent papers describe almost exactly the same group key establishment\nprotocol for wireless sensor networks. Quite part from the duplication issue,\nwe show that both protocols are insecure and should not be used - a member of a\ngroup can successfully impersonate the key generation centre and persuade any\nother group member to accept the wrong key value. This breaks the stated\nobjectives of the schemes.\n
