In this talk, we review the recent experimental developments on charmonium and charm spectroscopy base on the data samples taken by the BESIII, Belle, LHCb and CMS experiments. We concentrate on the resonant parameter measurement of χcJ, ηc, ηc(2S), observation of ψ(13D3) candidate and alternative χc0(2P) candidate, observation of excited Bc states, Ξ(2930) states, excited Ωc states and doubly charm baryon, and the study of Λc* states.
