Abstract

This is the abstract and bibliography for a talk hosted by the Center for the Study of Medicine and the Body in the Renaissance, Domus Comeliana, Pisa. The lecture, "The Transformation of Infectious Disease Histories: Three Decades of Paleogenetics and Historians' Responses," covers the developments in paleogenomics over the past 30 years that have been transforming our understanding of the world's major infectious diseases. The bibliography lists all the scholarship cited in the talk, and offers suggestions about teaching materials as well, where they exist.
