Abstract

We report the first record of the camaenid snail Amphidromus leucoxanthus (Martens, Citation1864) from Malaysia, significantly expanding its known distributional range. This finding represents the first documented occurrence of the species outside the eastern Gulf of Thailand. This range extension may indicate historical dispersal across adjacent biogeographical regions or the persistence of a relict population from past climatic periods.
