Abstract

For an element a ∈ R, let η(a)=\e∈ R| e²=e and a-e∈ nil(R)\. The nil clean index of R, denoted by NinA(R), is defined as Nin(R)=sup \| η(a)|: a∈ R\. In this article we have characterized formal triangular matrix ring \beginpmatrixA & M0 & B\endpmatrix with nil clean index 4.
