On Generalized Balancing Sequences

Abstract

Let Ri = R(A, B, R0, R1) be a second order linear recurrence sequence. In the present paper we prove that any sequence Ri = R(A, B, 0, R1) with D = A2 + 4B > 0, (A, B) ≠ (0, 1) is not a balancing sequence.
