Abstract

We suggest that a gauge theory CP-violating phase could be degenerate with a magnetic dual of a 4-form flux. Discrete discharge of this flux by membrane nucleations could reduce the total CP-violating phase to below 10^-10 well before BBN if the charge and the tension of the membranes are in the ∼ keV range.
