Abstract : In this paper, we embark on an exploration of media translation, a field that has witnessed remarkable growth in recent years in response to the ever-increasing human demand for information. To comprehensively examine this topic, we meticulously selected translated news articles spanning diverse knowledge domains, sourced from prominent media outlets websites such as BBC News, The Washington Post, Axios and Huffington Post Arabic. The focus of our analysis lies in the translation strategies employed by Huffington Post Arabic and the Arabic version of BBC News website to render the contents of English news articles published on the previously mentioned English websites. The findings of the research for which analytical critical study is utilized reveal that media translation utilizes a variety of strategies, mainly reorganization of the text, addition and omission that, according to the translator's perspective, effectively convey the essence of the source article to the Arabic target audience.
