Measurement of the Branching Fraction for the Decay χ_cJ→ ppηπ⁰

Abstract

Using (2712.4± 14.3)×10⁶ ψ(3686) events collected by the BESIII detector operating at the BEPCII collider, we present the first observations of the decays χ_cJ(J=0,1,2)→ ppηπ⁰. Their decay branching fractions are determined to be \cal B(χ_c0→ ppηπ⁰)=(2.41 ± 0.07 ± 0.19) × 10^-4, \cal B(χ_c1→ ppηπ⁰)=(1.95 ± 0.05 ± 0.12) × 10^-4, and \cal B(χ_c2→ ppηπ⁰)=(1.31 ± 0.05 ± 0.08) × 10^-4, where the first uncertainties are statistical and the second systematic.
