Abstract

Before the space era, Mars was
\nthought to be like the earth; after Mariner
\n4, Mars seemed to be like the moon;
\nMariners 6 and 7 have shown Mars to
\nhave its own distinctive features, unknown
\nelsewhere within the solar
\nsystem.
