Abstract We study the cross-section of production of a single W − boson in association with a neutrino through the process <mml:math xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" overflow="scroll"> <mml:msup> <mml:mrow> <mml:mi>e</mml:mi> </mml:mrow> <mml:mrow> <mml:mo>−</mml:mo> </mml:mrow> </mml:msup> <mml:mi>p</mml:mi> <mml:mo>→</mml:mo> <mml:msup> <mml:mrow> <mml:mi>e</mml:mi> </mml:mrow> <mml:mrow> <mml:mo>−</mml:mo> </mml:mrow> </mml:msup> <mml:msup> <mml:mrow> <mml:mi>γ</mml:mi> </mml:mrow> <mml:mrow> <mml:mo>*</mml:mo> </mml:mrow> </mml:msup> <mml:mi>p</mml:mi> <mml:mo>→</mml:mo> <mml:msub> <mml:mrow> <mml:mi>ν</mml:mi> </mml:mrow> <mml:mrow> <mml:mi>e</mml:mi> </mml:mrow> </mml:msub> <mml:msup> <mml:mrow> <mml:mi>W</mml:mi> </mml:mrow> <mml:mrow> <mml:mo>−</mml:mo> </mml:mrow> </mml:msup> <mml:mi>p</mml:mi> </mml:math> . Additionally, we obtain limits on the anomalous couplings Δ κ γ and λ γ of the W + W − γ vertex at the Large Hadron electron Collider (LHeC) and the future circular collider hadron-electron (FCC-he). The impact of the polarized beam due to the electron is also analyzed. Our best limits for Δ κ γ and λ γ at the 95% C.L. are: Δ κ γ = ±0.0017, <mml:math xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" overflow="scroll"> <mml:msub> <mml:mrow> <mml:mi>λ</mml:mi> </mml:mrow> <mml:mrow> <mml:mi>γ</mml:mi> </mml:mrow> </mml:msub> <mml:mo>=</mml:mo> <mml:mo>±</mml:mo> <mml:mn>0.0053</mml:mn> </mml:math> (unpolarized electron beam) and <mml:math xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" overflow="scroll"> <mml:mi mathvariant="normal">Δ</mml:mi> <mml:msub> <mml:mrow> <mml:mi>κ</mml:mi> </mml:mrow> <mml:mrow> <mml:mi>γ</mml:mi> </mml:mrow> </mml:msub> <mml:mo>=</mml:mo> <mml:mo>±</mml:mo> <mml:mn>0.0013</mml:mn> </mml:math> , <mml:math xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" overflow="scroll"> <mml:msub> <mml:mrow> <mml:mi>λ</mml:mi> </mml:mrow> <mml:mrow> <mml:mi>γ</mml:mi> </mml:mrow> </mml:msub> <mml:mo>=</mml:mo> <mml:mo>±</mml:mo> <mml:mn>0.0046</mml:mn> </mml:math> (polarized electron beam) identifying the W − boson through the hadronic decay channel.
