This paper investigates the effect of both electron-phonon interaction and thermal expansion on the topological phase transition in BiTeI, which goes from trivial insulator to Weyl semimetal to ℤ2 topological insulator under hydrostatic pressure. A pressure-temperature topological phase diagram is constructed, revealing that the phase space of the intermediate Weyl semimetal phase is increased by temperature.
