Abstract

The recent results on di-electron production in p+p and Au+Au collisions at √s_NN = 200 GeV are presented. The cocktail simulations of di-electrons from light and heavy flavor hadron decays are reported and compared with data. The perspectives for di-lepton measurements in lower energy Au+Au collisions and with future detector upgrades are discussed.
