Abstract

The post-Minkowskian expansion in general relativity (an expansion when the compactness parameter G\phantom\rule00exm/r/c2 of the source tends to zero) applied to the motion of N-body systems is revisited and compared to recently derived high-order post-Newtonian calculations (expansion when the slowness parameter v2/c2 tends to zero).
