Abstract

Using 567 pb^\ensuremath-1 of data collected with the BESIII detector at a center-of-mass energy of √(s)=4.599 GeV, near the \mathrm\ensuremathΛc+\mathrm\ensuremathΛc^\ensuremath- threshold, we study the singly Cabibbo-suppressed decays \mathrm\ensuremathΛc+\ensuremath→p\ensuremathπ+\ensuremathπ^\ensuremath- and \mathrm\ensuremathΛc+\ensuremath→pK+K^\ensuremath-. By normalizing with respect to the Cabibbo-favored decay \mathrm\ensuremathΛc+\ensuremath→pK^\ensuremath-\ensuremathπ+, we obtain ratios of branching fractions: [B(\mathrm\ensuremathΛc+\ensuremath→p\ensuremathπ+\ensuremathπ^\ensuremath-)/B(\mathrm\ensuremathΛc+\ensuremath→pK^\ensuremath-\ensuremathπ+)]=(6.70\ifmmode±\else\textpm\fi0.48\ifmmode±\else\textpm\fi0.25)%, [B(\mathrm\ensuremathΛc+\ensuremath→p\ensuremathφ)/B(\mathrm\ensuremathΛc+\ensuremath→pK^\ensuremath-\ensuremathπ+)]=(1.81\ifmmode±\else\textpm\fi0.33\ifmmode±\else\textpm\fi0.13)%, and [B(\mathrm\ensuremathΛc+\ensuremath→pK+K_non\ensuremath-\ensuremathφ^\ensuremath-)/B(\mathrm\ensuremathΛc+\ensuremath→pK^\ensuremath-\ensuremathπ+)]=\phantom\rule0ex0ex(9.36\ifmmode±\else\textpm\fi2.22\ifmmode±\else\textpm\fi0.71)\ifmmode×\else\texttimes\fi10^\ensuremath-3, where the uncertainties are statistical and systematic, respectively. The absolute branching fractions are also presented. Among these measurements, the decay \mathrm\ensuremathΛc+\ensuremath→p\ensuremathπ+\ensuremathπ^\ensuremath- is observed for the first time, and the precision of the branching fraction for \mathrm\ensuremathΛc+\ensuremath→pK+K_non\text\ensuremath-\ensuremathφ^\ensuremath- and \mathrm\ensuremathΛc+\ensuremath→p\ensuremathφ is significantly improved.
