Magnetic moments of the doubly charmed and bottom baryons

Abstract

The chiral corrections to the magnetic moments of the spin-(1)/(2) doubly charmed baryons are systematically investigated up to next-to-next-to-leading order with heavy baryon chiral perturbation theory. The numerical results are calculated up to next-to-leading order: \ensuremathμ_\mathrm\ensuremathΞ_cc⁺⁺=\ensuremath-0.25\ensuremathμ_N, \ensuremathμ_\mathrm\ensuremathΞ_cc⁺=0.85\ensuremathμ_N, \ensuremathμ_\mathrm\ensuremathΩ_cc⁺=0.78\ensuremathμ_N. We also calculate the magnetic moments of the other doubly heavy baryons, including the doubly bottom baryons (bbq) and the doubly heavy baryons containing a light quark, a charm quark, and a bottom quark (bcq and [bc]q): \ensuremathμ_\mathrm\ensuremathΞ_bb⁰=\ensuremath-0.84\ensuremathμ_N, \ensuremathμ_\mathrm\ensuremathΞ_bb^\ensuremath-=0.26\ensuremathμ_N, \ensuremathμ_\mathrm\ensuremathΩ_bb^\ensuremath-=0.19\ensuremathμ_N, \ensuremathμ_\mathrm\ensuremathΞ_bcq⁺=\ensuremath-0.54\ensuremathμ_N, \ensuremathμ_\mathrm\ensuremathΞ_bcq⁰=0.56\ensuremathμ_N, \ensuremathμ_\mathrm\ensuremathΩ_bcq⁰=0.49\ensuremathμ_N, \ensuremathμ_\mathrm\ensuremathΞ_[bc]q⁺=0.69\ensuremathμ_N, \ensuremathμ_\mathrm\ensuremathΞ_[bc]q⁰=\ensuremath-0.59\ensuremathμ_N, \ensuremathμ_\mathrm\ensuremathΩ_[bc]q⁰=0.24\ensuremathμ_N.
