Abstract Agron, son of Pleuratos (a common Illyrian name), came from the royal house of the Ardiaioi. In the period before 230 BCE , he reconquered southern Illyria, which had since Pyrrhos belonged to Epirus, and also brought under his dominion Corcyra, Epidamnos, and Pharos.
