Abstract

Es seien P n == P^C) der ^-dimensionale komplex-projektive Raum, 3 C P" eine singularittenfreie, irreduzible Kurve ber dem Krper der rationalen Zahlen. Das (homogene) Ideal von 3 in ^ wird also von Polynomen aufgespannt, deren Koeffizienten rationale Zahlen sind. Mordell hat vermutet : Ist das Geschlecht von X grer als i, so enthlt 3 hchstens endlich viele Punkte mit rationalen Koordinaten
