The current status of the Λ(1405) resonance in the K¯N scattering is summarized. It is shown that the precise experimental data and the theoretical developments in chiral SU(3) dynamics enable us to quantitatively understand the physics around the K¯N threshold. We present the recent theoretical predictions of the πΣ spectrum and the investigations of the internal structure of the Λ(1405).
