Abstract

Abstract The paper briefly considers the historical development of the bipolar genus Myonia in the Permian of Northeast Russia. Representatives are commonly dominant in Permian communities. Two new species are described, namely, M. kutygini sp. nov., and M. komiensiformis sp. nov.
