Abstract

Neurology® recognizes the contributions of neurologists and neuroscientists who have contributed to the field. However, individuals from outside our profession sometimes make immense and enduring contributions. These individuals can be activists or actors, patients or philanthropists, or in this case, a microbiologist and a member of Congress.
