We report the results of a study of the exclusive charmless semileptonic decays, B+\ensuremath→\ensuremathη^(\ensuremath')\ensuremathℓ+\ensuremathν and B0\ensuremath→\ensuremathπ^\ensuremath-\ensuremathℓ+\ensuremathν, undertaken with approximately 464\ifmmode×\else\texttimes\fi106 BB pairs collected at the \ensuremathΥ(4S) resonance with the BABAR detector. The analysis uses events in which the signal B decays are reconstructed with a loose neutrino reconstruction technique. We obtain partial branching fractions for B+\ensuremath→\ensuremathη\ensuremathℓ+\ensuremathν and B0\ensuremath→\ensuremathπ^\ensuremath-\ensuremathℓ+\ensuremathν decays in three and 12 bins of q2, respectively, from which we extract the f+(q2) form-factor shapes and the total branching fractions B(B+\ensuremath→\ensuremathη\ensuremathℓ+\ensuremathν)=(0.36\ifmmode±\else\textpm\fi0.05stat\ifmmode±\else\textpm\fi0.04syst)\ifmmode×\else\texttimes\fi10^\ensuremath-4 and B(B0\ensuremath→\ensuremathπ^\ensuremath-\ensuremathℓ+\ensuremathν)=(1.42\ifmmode±\else\textpm\fi0.05stat\ifmmode±\else\textpm\fi0.07syst)\ifmmode×\else\texttimes\fi10^\ensuremath-4. We also measure B(B+\ensuremath→\ensuremathη^\ensuremath'\ensuremathℓ+\ensuremathν)=(0.24\ifmmode±\else\textpm\fi0.08stat\ifmmode±\else\textpm\fi0.03syst)\ifmmode×\else\texttimes\fi10^\ensuremath-4. We obtain values for the magnitude of the CKM matrix element |Vub| using three different QCD calculations.
