Abstract

We report final measurements of direct CP-violating asymmetries in charmless decays of neutral bottom hadrons to pairs of charged hadrons with the upgraded Collider Detector at the Fermilab Tevatron. Using the complete √(s)=1.96 TeV proton-antiproton collisions data set, corresponding to 9.3 fb^\ensuremath-1 of integrated luminosity, we measure A(\mathrm\ensuremathΛb0\ensuremath→p\ensuremathπ^\ensuremath-)=+0.06\ifmmode±\else\textpm\fi0.07(stat)\ifmmode±\else\textpm\fi0.03(syst) and A(\mathrm\ensuremathΛb0\ensuremath→pK^\ensuremath-)=\phantom\rule0ex0ex\ensuremath-0.10\ifmmode±\else\textpm\fi0.08(stat)\ifmmode±\else\textpm\fi0.04(syst), compatible with no asymmetry. In addition we measure the CP-violating asymmetries in Bs0\ensuremath→K^\ensuremath-\ensuremathπ+ and B0\ensuremath→K+\ensuremathπ^\ensuremath- decays to be A(Bs0\ensuremath→K^\ensuremath-\ensuremathπ+)=+0.22\ifmmode±\else\textpm\fi0.07(stat)\ifmmode±\else\textpm\fi0.02(syst) and A(B0\ensuremath→K+\ensuremathπ^\ensuremath-)=\ensuremath-0.083\ifmmode±\else\textpm\fi0.013(stat)\ifmmode±\else\textpm\fi0.004(syst), respectively, which are significantly different from zero and consistent with current world averages.
