Abstract

A measurement of the Bs0\ensuremath→J/\ensuremathψ\ensuremathφ decay parameters, updated to include flavor tagging is reported using 4.9 fb^\ensuremath-1 of integrated luminosity collected by the ATLAS detector from √(s)=7 TeV pp collisions recorded in 2011 at the LHC. The values measured for the physical parameters are \ensuremathφs=0.12\ifmmode±\else\textpm\fi0.25(stat)\ifmmode±\else\textpm\fi0.05(syst) rad\phantom\rule0ex0ex\mathrm\ensuremathΔ\mathrm\ensuremathΓs=0.053\ifmmode±\else\textpm\fi0.021(stat)\ifmmode±\else\textpm\fi0.010(syst) ps^\ensuremath-1\phantom\rule0ex0ex\mathrm\ensuremathΓs=0.677\ifmmode±\else\textpm\fi0.007(stat)\ifmmode±\else\textpm\fi0.004(syst) ps^\ensuremath-1\phantom\rule0ex0ex|A_\ensuremath∥(0)|2=0.220\ifmmode±\else\textpm\fi0.008(stat)\ifmmode±\else\textpm\fi0.009(syst)\phantom\rule0ex0ex|A0(0)|2=0.529\ifmmode±\else\textpm\fi0.006(stat)\ifmmode±\else\textpm\fi0.012(syst)\phantom\rule0ex0ex\ensuremathδ_\ensuremath⊥=3.89\ifmmode±\else\textpm\fi0.47(stat)\ifmmode±\else\textpm\fi0.11(syst) radwhere the parameter \mathrm\ensuremathΔ\mathrm\ensuremathΓs is constrained to be positive. The S-wave contribution was measured and found to be compatible with zero. Results for \ensuremathφs and \mathrm\ensuremathΔ\mathrm\ensuremathΓs are also presented as 68% and 95% likelihood contours, which show agreement with the Standard Model expectations.
