Abstract A new primitive therocephalian Koksharovia grechovi gen. et sp. nov. is described based on material from the Kotelnich locality (Kirov Region). Biarmosuchoides romanovi from the Dubovka-1 locality (Orenburg Region), previously considered to be a member of family Biarmosuchidae (Dinocephalia) or Ictidorhinidae (Gorgonopia), was identified as a therocephalian. These taxa were attributed to Scylacosauridae. They were small sized and had a large number of postcanine teeth not typical for other scylacosaurids.
