Abstract

We study the effect of scalar leptoquarks on some rare decays of Bs mesons involving the quark level transition b\ensuremath→s l+l^\ensuremath-. In particular we consider the decays Bs\ensuremath→\ensuremathμ+\ensuremathμ^\ensuremath-, Bd0\ensuremath→Xs\ensuremathμ+\ensuremathμ^\ensuremath- and Bs\ensuremath→\ensuremathφ \ensuremathμ+\ensuremathμ^\ensuremath-. The leptoquark parameter space is constrained using the recently measured branching ratio of the Bs\ensuremath→\ensuremathμ+\ensuremathμ^\ensuremath- process at LHCb and CMS experiments. Using such parameters we obtain the branching ratio, forward-backward asymmetry and the CP asymmetry parameters in the angular distribution of Bs\ensuremath→\ensuremathφ \ensuremathμ+\ensuremathμ^\ensuremath- process.
