We analyze a change in a deficit of reactor antineutrinos at distances smaller than 100\phantom\rule0.28em0exm by changing the lifetime of the neutron from \ensuremathτn=885.7\phantom\rule0.28em0exs to \ensuremathτn=879.6\phantom\rule0.28em0exs, calculated for the axial coupling constants \ensuremathλ=\ensuremath-1.2694 and \ensuremathλ=\ensuremath-1.2750, respectively, to get a result corresponding the new world average value \ensuremathτn=880.1(1.1)\phantom\rule0.28em0exs. We calculate the angular distribution and cross section for the inverse \ensuremathβ decay, taking into account the contributions of the ``weak magnetism'' and the neutron recoil to next-to-leading order in the large baryon mass expansion and the radiative corrections of order \ensuremathα/\ensuremathπ\ensuremath∼10^\ensuremath-3, calculated to leading order in the large baryon mass expansion. We obtain an increase of a deficit of reactor antineutrinos of about 0.734%. We discuss a universality of radiative corrections to order \ensuremathα to the neutrino (antineutrino) reactions induced by weak charged currents, pointed out by Kurylov, Ramsey-Musolf, and Vogel [Phys. Rev. C 67, 035502 (2003)], and calculate the antineutrino-energy spectrum of the neutron \ensuremathβ^\ensuremath- decay to order \ensuremathα/\ensuremathπ and taking into account the contributions of the weak magnetism and the proton recoil.
