Alcohol use represents a significant public health challenge, as it is associated with high morbidity and mortality rates as well as social impacts. Early consumption among adolescents is a major concern, since this practice influences their behavior, increases exposure to risk factors, and generates harmful effects that can persist into adulthood. The aim of this study is to map the available evidence on the influence of home, community, and school environments on alcohol consumption among adolescents worldwide. This is a scoping review that will follow the methodological guidelines of the JBI and will be conducted in accordance with the PRISMA-ScR checklist extension. The PCC strategy was used to structure the research question, as follows: a) Population – adolescents of both sexes aged 10 to 19 years; b) Concept – factors associated with patterns of alcoholic beverage consumption; c) Context – studies without geographic restrictions that are related to home, community, and school environments. Observational, qualitative, and mixed-methods studies that meet the population, concept, and context criteria and address the influence of the aforementioned environments on alcohol use among adolescents will be included. The search will be carried out in the Embase, Scopus, MEDLINE via PubMed, APA PsycNet, Lilacs, and Web of Science databases. Study selection will be conducted independently by two reviewers, with disagreements resolved by consensus or by a third reviewer. Data extraction will be performed using a standardized, pre-tested form, which may be adapted as needed during the extraction process. Extracted data will be analyzed descriptively, with the aim of mapping and synthesizing the available evidence. Thus, the findings of this scoping review will contribute to a broad understanding of the available evidence, providing a basis for future research, public policies, and prevention strategies aimed at reducing alcohol consumption among adolescents.
