The spin precession frequency of muons stored in the (g\ensuremath-2) storage ring has been analyzed for evidence of Lorentz and CPT violation. Two Lorentz and CPT violation signatures were searched for a nonzero \ensuremathΔ\ensuremathωa(=\ensuremathωa^\ensuremathμ+\ensuremath-\ensuremathωa^\ensuremathμ^\ensuremath-) and a sidereal variation of \ensuremathωa^\ensuremathμ^\ifmmode±\else\textpm\fi. No significant effect is found, and the following limits on the standard-model extension parameters are obtained: bZ=\ensuremath-(1.0\ifmmode±\else\textpm\fi1.1)\ifmmode×\else\texttimes\fi\phantom\rule0ex0ex10^\ensuremath-23 GeV; (m_\ensuremathμdZ0+HXY)=(1.8\ifmmode±\else\textpm\fi6.0)\ifmmode×\else\texttimes\fi10^\ensuremath-23 GeV; and the 95% confidence level limits \stackrel\textasciicaronb_\ensuremath⊥^\ensuremathμ+<\phantom\rule0ex0ex1.4\ifmmode×\else\texttimes\fi10^\ensuremath-24 GeV and \stackrel\textasciicaronb_\ensuremath⊥^\ensuremathμ^\ensuremath-<2.6\ifmmode×\else\texttimes\fi10^\ensuremath-24 GeV.
