Abstract

This chapter is about achieving food security through the revitalisation of indigenous knowledge among the Acholi people of Northern Uganda. It draws from the theory of knowledge democracy, which articulates the idea of validating and accepting all forms of knowledge, including indigenous knowledge systems, knowledge generated through community-based research (CBR), and processes of informal learning about food security practices among the Acholi people of Northern Uganda. These keywords were added by machine and not by the authors. This process is experimental and the keywords may be updated as the learning algorithm improves.
