We report on the observation of B\ensuremath→D*\ensuremathπ+\ensuremathπ^\ensuremath-\ensuremathπ^\ensuremath-\ensuremathπ0 decays. The branching ratios for D*+ and D*0 are (1.72\ifmmode±\else\textpm\fi0.14\ifmmode±\else\textpm\fi0.24)% and (1.80\ifmmode±\else\textpm\fi0.24\ifmmode±\else\textpm\fi0.27)%, respectively. Each final state has a D*\ensuremathω\ensuremathπ^\ensuremath- component, with branching ratios (0.29\ifmmode±\else\textpm\fi0.03\ifmmode±\else\textpm\fi0.04)% and (0.45\ifmmode±\else\textpm\fi0.10\ifmmode±\else\textpm\fi0.07)% for the D*+ and D*0 modes, respectively. We also observe B\ensuremath→D\ensuremathω\ensuremathπ^\ensuremath- decays. The branching ratios for D+ and D0 are (0.28\ifmmode±\else\textpm\fi0.05\ifmmode±\else\textpm\fi0.04)% and (0.41\ifmmode±\else\textpm\fi0.07\ifmmode±\else\textpm\fi0.06)%, respectively. A spin parity analysis of the \ensuremathω\ensuremathπ^\ensuremath- system in the D\ensuremathω\ensuremathπ^\ensuremath- final state shows a preference for a wide 1^\ensuremath- resonance. A fit to the \ensuremathω\ensuremathπ^\ensuremath- mass spectrum finds a central mass of (1349\ifmmode±\else\textpm\fi25_\ensuremath-5+10) MeV and width of (547\ifmmode±\else\textpm\fi86_\ensuremath-45+46) MeV. We identify this object as the \ensuremathρ(1450) or the \ensuremathρ^\ensuremath'.
