Quantum Sugawara operators in U_q(\widehat\mathfrakgl_M|N)

Abstract

We construct Sugawara operators for the quantum affine superalgebra U_q(\widehat\mathfrakgl_M|N) in an explicit form which generalizes the results given in \citeJLM for the quantum affine algebras. We also calculate the Harish-Chandra images of the Sugawara operators.
