Abstract

In this paper the production of excited vector and pseudoscalar charmonium mesons in e+e^\ensuremath- annihilation is analyzed in the framework of the light cone. In particular the cross sections e+e^\ensuremath-\ensuremath→\ensuremathψ(2S)\ensuremathηc(1S),\ensuremathψ(1S)\ensuremathηc(2S),\ensuremathψ(2S)\ensuremathηc(2S) have been calculated. It is shown that contrary to NRQCD, the cross sections calculated in the framework of the light cone agree with experimental data.
