Abstract

We propose that the coexistence of a double-Q spin density wave (SDW), which is responsible for the so-called checker boards, and a multi-Q pair density wave of d\ensuremathγ-wave Cooper pairs, which is induced by the folding of the Brillouin zone due to SDW, is responsible for the so-called zero-temperature pseudogaps. Disorder must play a crucial role in the stabilization of SDW.
