The interference between nuclear resonant and Rayleigh-Thomson scattering from single crystals of iron has been observed for various magnetizations of the sources and scatterer. The general theory of this phenomenon is presented, and specific cases are discussed in detail. Experimental results are in general accord with theory, if effects of domain structure and self absorption in the source are taken into account.
