Abstract

We compute the magnetic moments of the octet baryons up to two orders in quenched chiral perturbation theory. In addition to the ∼√(mq) contributions that arise in QCD, there are lower-order contributions of the form M02log mq from loop diagrams involving hairpin interactions.
