A new way of accounting for the long distance contribution to the [Formula: see text] mixing matrix element is described. The sum of hadronic contributions is dual to the standard light quark loop given by the famous box diagram with small perturbative corrections due to strong interactions that are under control. Estimates of nonperturbative QCD corrections are given in the leading order of chiral perturbation theory.
