Analytical expressions are presented for contributions of order O( α α s ) and O( α 2 ) to the bb -decay width of the neutral Higgs boson of the standard model of electroweak interactions. The numerical value of the mixed QED and QCD correction of order O( α α s ) is comparable to other computed terms in the perturbation series.
