Abstract

<p>The botanical exploration of Gingee hills, Tamil Nadu, India resulted in collection of three species <em>viz</em>., <em>Diospyros affinis </em>Thwaites, <em>Drypetes porteri</em> (Gamble) Pax & K. Hoffm. and <em>Premna wightiana </em>Schauer have showing their extended geographical distribution in Eastern Ghats. This study revealed about the disjunct distribution, ecology and the present status of these three species from the Eastern Ghats.</p><div> </div>
