During the last decades Phytophthora genus has become increasingly important in plant pathology and environmental sciences. Development of molecular techniques and the availability of the DNA sequences enabling markers designing [1, 2] caused a rapid increase in the detection and identification of Phytophthora species in plants, water, and soil.
