We study possible deviations from the Standard Model in the reaction e+e- → Zϕ, where ϕ denotes a spinless neutral boson. We show how the Z decay angular correlation can be used to extract detailed information on the ϕ couplings, such as the parity of ϕ, radiatively induced form factor effects and possible CP violation in the scalar sector. Consequences of gauge invariant dimension six operators are discussed as an example.
